These Bands Were Awesome Live!

So this was a three band show Exodus Complex (the house band), Engaged, and Complex Zero.  This is the only time that the house band will be included in this review, unless something incredible happens!!!

April 1st, 2006

First I want to say "I had my face rocked off!!!!"  This was a great show...except for the fact very few people showed up....i dont get it we want a good hardcore scene and its being offered for free...where are all the people at.....oops sorry...about the bands:

First was Engaged:
Wow there is no way to describe a two piece accoustical screamo band except to say they rocked and I would really love to see them again!!!!!! They are welcome back here anytime.  And Josh if you happen to read this that is the loudest scream i have ever heard (he didnt even use the mic half the time).  But besides the oddity of two accoustic electric guitars with no distortion, these two could hardcore out with the best of them!! I think my favorite part was the witness. No matter if it was in the words of the song, the spoken parts in-between or the actions displayed off stage, these guys are a class act!!!

The Second band was Exodus Complex:
Although a house band for the House of Freedom venue, these guys rock hard!!  Pure vocals, screaming guitars and a bass solo that rocks your face.  Oh yeah and for T.J. the drummer " you were good too!!" There is no frontier these guys wont conquer if there hearts just stay with there great God loving music.  For all interested they have there first CD comming out real soon and it will be followed up almost immediatly by i think the first ever Hardcore worship album.  These are songs you may have heard on the radio (and some you haven't) done like they have never been done before!!!!

Finally the last band:

Complex Zero is exactly what you would want from a good band. Friendly, polite, humble and most of all great musicians. These guys are described by me with one word.......incredible.....no matter how many came, they kept putting on a profesional, incredible show....deffinatly top notch in my opinion!!!!

Thanks to all the bands who have played so far and havent been on this page yet.......come back and see us and we will write about you.  You have all been great!!!!
